Hockey Player

The Resume

    (February 7, 1975- )
Played for Ottawa Senators (1993-98), Philadelphia Flyers (1998-99), Tampa Bay Lightning (1999), New York Rangers (1999-2000), Pittsburgh Penguins (2002-03) and Minnesota Wild (2003-06)
Drafted 1st overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft

Why he might be annoying:

He was the biggest first overall bust in NHL history, ahead of Brian Lawton.
He admitted that he never put in a good effort during his career.
He spent two years out of hockey trying to pursue an acting career.
He made the statement 'I'm glad I got drafted first, because no one remembers number two' when he got drafted by the Senators (Source: Wikipedia).
Ironically the player chosen second overall was Chris Pronger.
He spent the majority of his comeback season with the Penguins farm team (2003).
He was given a ridiculous rookie contract by Senators management that paid him close to $15 million with bonuses over five years.

Why he might not be annoying:

He said that he took two years away from hockey because he was burned out from all the pressure that was placed on him.
He was considered a top prospect after scoring 132 points with the Victoriaville Tigres of the QMJHL (1992).
