The Resume

    (September 1, 1987-September 7, 1989)
Aired simultaneously on NBC and in syndication
NBC version hosted by Vicki Lawrence
Syndicated version hosted by Bert Convy (1987-88) and Robb Weller (1989)
Produced by Convy and Burt Reynolds
Premise: Two teams consisting of two celebrities and one contestant draw clues to solve a puzzle

Why Win, Lose or Draw might be annoying:

The game was described as ‘sketch pad charades’ to hide the fact that it was really Pictionary.
Even for the 80s, the payouts were pretty low.
The teams were always divided guys vs. gals.
Milton Bradley marketed a home version, thus creating a board game based on a TV show based on a board game.

Why Win, Lose or Draw might not be annoying:

The set was based on Burt Reynolds’ living room.
Episodes of the Bert Convy-hosted shows have been shown on Game Show Network.
The show was nominated for a Daytime Emmy each season it aired.
