Why he might be annoying:

During interviews, he often rambles and repeatedly mentioning his sponsors.
It took him over 400 Nascar Winston Cup Races before he won his first race in the 2001 Daytona 500.
He won't let his brother Darrell drive the Aaron's Dream Machine (His Busch Series Race Car).
He blocked for his teammate, Dale Earnhardt Jr. to help him win several races.
He has a reputation for only being able to win at either Daytona or Talledega (All 4 of his current Nextel Cup wins have come at either one of those tracks).
He's done some pretty cheesy commercials for some of his sponsors.

Why he might not be annoying:

His win in the 2001 Daytona 500 was overshadowed by the death of Dale Earnhardt.
He proposed to his wife in the victory lane after winning a Nascar Busch Series Race in Bristol, Tennessee in April, 1993.
He runs marathons for charity.
He is very well liked by his sponsors.
He has a good sense of humor in his interviews.
He is one of Nascar's largest drivers at 6'5 200 pounds.
He survived a very scary crash at Bristol, Tennessee in 1990 where his car disintegrated. He not only survived, but he raced the next day with very few bruises.
