Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He struggled with consistency issues during the course of his career.
Despite being the starter for the first quarter of the season, he was relegated to backup duties after the Avalanche acquired Patrick Roy.
He requested a trade from the Avs, and was traded to the Kings for Eric Lacroix (the general manager Pierre's son).
His tenure with the Kings ended abruptly as he lost the starting job, after suffering two knee injuries in the same season.
He was only able to play in two games with the Canadiens, as a result of the chronic knee problems that affected his performance.

Why he might not be annoying:

He had a couple of the more noteworthy goalie mask designs in the 1990's as a member of both the Nordiques and the Kings.
He earned a Stanley Cup ring as a member of the Avalanche (1996).
He was rumored, along with Owen Nolan and Adam Deadmarsh to have been part of a package deal that would have brought Roy to Colorado at the start of the 1995-96 season.
He voluntarily chose to ride out the rest of the 1995-96 season as a backup, rather then accept a trade elsewhere to be a starter.
He was able to finish his hockey career with the hometown Canadiens, albeit for two games.
