Why Jimmy Kimmel Live might be annoying:

The show is called 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' even though it has not been live since 2004.
Jimmy originally had a different co-host every week, but that was abandoned after a year.
Jimmy and co-host Snoop Dogg spent the entire first show getting drunk.
The show's liquor license was taken away after some audience members got sick from drinking too much.
It made Andy Milonakis famous.
An episode had to be pulled after Jimmy made a joke about Detroit burning the city down after the Pistons beat the Lakers.

Why Jimmy Kimmel Live might not be annoying:

Jimmy apologized for the joke he made about Detroit and did a week of shows there.
Several of Jimmy's friends and family members get involved with the show.
It premiered after the Super Bowl.
They did a memorable parody of R. Kelly's music video for 'The Closet' called 'The Pizza.'
They somehow got Dicky Barrett to be their announcer.
It has a cult following.
