    He filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy, in an attempt to free himself on $945,000 debt, including $367,000 in back taxes (May 2004).
    After beating Roy Jones, Jr. in a title fight, he became so excited that he accidentally punched a camera out of a cameraman's hands (May 16, 2004).
    His nickname is 'Magic Man.'
    He doesn't trust the fight judges.

    After seeing Roy Jones, Jr. fight at the 1988 Olympics, it inspired him to end his drug addiction and become a professional boxer.
    He was the first boxer to knock out Roy Jones, Jr. in a professional fight (Jones fought previously in 50 matches - May 16, 2004).
    He suffered a broken jaw in a fight that he lost to Eric Harding (2000).
    At the 1995 Olympic Trials, his opponent decided not to show up for the fight.

    Prior to the beginning of his second fight with Roy Jones, referee Jay Nady asked the standard 'Any questions?' to which he stared into the eyes of Jones and inquired very loudly 'You got any excuses tonight, Roy?'
