The Resume

    (1963- )
    Resides in Ohio
    Pharmacy worker
Falsely claimed to win $162 million Mega Millions jackpot in the Ohio lottery (January 2, 2004)
    Numbers drawn were 12, 18, 21, 32, 46 and Mega Ball 49

Why she might be annoying:

She used customer credit card numbers at the supermarket where she worked to make purchases for herself (1998).
She has been previously convicted of credit card fraud and assault convictions.
She filed a fraudulent report with the Ohio police claiming she won the lottery but lost the ticket.
She claimed the winning ticket spilled from her purse into the snow when she dropped her purse outside the store.
She claimed she chose the numbers based on the ages of her kids and husband. The number 49 she said was the age her husband would be in February, only problem is he is 44. Another number was the reverse of the age of one of her child. In other words her claim of picking these numbers just didn't jive.
The real winner Rebecca Jemison, not only produced the winning ticket in good condition (although it was supposedly dropped in the snow), but she also produced a losing ticket purchased around the same time (December 30, 2003) and an older losing ticket with the same numbers.
Jemison took her time before declaring she had won to speak to an accountant and lawyer.
Her attorney filed suit to block Jemison from collecting the winning.
Her husband is 44 and works a newspaper route.
    The household has seven children.
It is alleged she keyed 'fuck my husb' on another woman's car, who she thought was having an affair with him.
Although her husband's last name is Dickson, she uses the name of her current boyfriend, Battle.
Her husband Keith Dickson was unaware that she filed divorce papers against him.
When AP asked about her criminal past, she lied and said she was never convicted.
Police checked on charges against her of harassment and vandalism three times in a two year period (2000-01).
She made sure to have her make up perfect and her hair done for her apology.

Why she might not be annoying:

She confessed she made up this lottery scam and apologized (January 8, 2004).
She dropped her scam, when no one believed her, allowing the real winner to get the winnings.
Despite all of her past, she never spent a day in jail.
