    Recorded the song 'Kookie, Kookie Lend Me Your Comb' with Connie Stevens
    Wrote the autobiography 'Kookie No More' (1996)
    He was a male hustler in his late teens.
    He lost the lead in 'PT 109' because JFK did not want to be portrayed by 'Kookie.'
    He threatened to sue Ed Burns if Burns did not change his name.
    During a car show in Texas, he yelled obscenities at a small girl and her father for videotaping him.
    He made such an impression in '77 Sunset Strip' that he was brought back as a regular, with star Efram Zimbalist, Jr., explaining at the start of the 2nd episode, 'This week, we'll just forget that in the pilot he went off to prison to be executed.'
    At his peak, he received 15,000 fan letters a week.
    He appeared in an episode of Married... with Children with Anthrax, who sang a cover of 'Kookie, Kookie, Lend Me Your Comb.'
