    (1971- )
    Formed in Los Angeles
    Original line-up:
    David Pack (guitar, lead vocals)
    Joe Puerta (bass, vocals)
    Christopher North (keyboards)
    Burleigh Drummond (drums, vocals)
Recorded 'Holdin' on to Yesterday,' 'Nice, Nice, Very Nice,' 'Somewhere I've Never Traveled,' 'Magical Mystery Tour,' 'How Much I Feel,' 'You're the Only Woman' and 'Biggest Part of Me'
It took four years before securing a record contract.
North left the band just before they released their breakthrough album 'Life Beyond L.A.'
That album contained the song 'Kamikaze,' an account of a WW II pilot, and was omitted when the CD was released in Japan.
They released an 'Anthology' album in 1997, then a 'Greatest Hits' album in 2004 - the exact same album with slightly altered artwork.
When they reformed in 1997 North rejoined, but after new songs were recorded Pack quit.
L.A. Philharmonic conductor Zubin Mehta featured them as part of his 1971 'All-American Dream Concert.'
Their debut album contained a song based on Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.'s novel 'Cat's Cradle' and was nominated for a Grammy.
They shifted musical direction enough to retain their progressive sound but achieve a mainstream pop feel and radio airplay.
They had two Top Five hits in the U.S.; 'How Much I Feel' in 1978 and 'Biggest Part of Me' in 1980.
