He insulted Mitt Romney and questioned his Christianity, but, supported him for president in 2012.
Why? Well, Barack Obama is the Antichrist. Duh!
He views homosexuality as 'disgusting' and is not surprised that homosexuals are 'disease ridden.'
When Tim Tebow decided against speaking at his church, he blamed the media (February 21, 2013).

Why he might not be annoying:

He's well respected within the Evangelical Christian community.
As of 2013, he'd authored 18 books.
He's a vocal opponent of adultery and divorce (unless it's the Biblical kind of divorce).
He earned his Doctor of Ministry at Southwest Baptist Theological Seminary.
He appreciates the food at Chick Fil A, as well as the ownership's political agenda.
