Sports Team
Played at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tennessee
    Overall record was 9-9
Contracted by the CFL after one season
They were part of the ill-fated U.S. CFL expansion of the 90's.
    They were a copycat franchise.
They copied the Baltimore Stallions by loading their roster with all-star caliber players and experienced coaches.
They copied the uniform of the Birmingham Barracudas by having a lacrosse style uniform with a large dog on the chest.
The Liberty Bowl was not a CFL length stadium.
Their head coach Pepper Rodgers complained about the CFL's style of play saying it should have four downs rather then three.
    They lost their first game.
Their uniforms looked similar to those of the Philadelphia Eagles.
Future Hall of Famer Damon Allen played for them.
One of their linebackers Junior Robinson was killed in an auto accident on the way to a game.
They had a really good defense that kept them competitive.
