    Their record label became completely broke and couldn't support them any more. This led to band's final break-up.
    Their song, ‘The Shark's Own Private Fuck' criticizes Nate Mendel for not walking out on the Foo Fighters to re-join SDRE when they reformed.
    Jeremy is a born-again Christian.

Why they might not be annoying:

    After their break-up, Nate and Will went on to have success in the Foo Fighters.
    Jeremy, Will, and Nate still play together in a side project called The Fire Theft.
    They refused to play shows in California.
