She is often confused with actress Maureen O'Hara.
She was typecast as her Jane character.
Her skimpy costume in the 'Tarzan' series was considered very controversial and obscene in the 1930s.

She did a nude skinny dipping scene in 'Tarzan and His Mate' (it was cut by censors).
