A former co-star said of Brenda: 'I cannot stand that woman and you can print that!'
She is twice divorced.
She spent several months in jail for not vacating a marital condo, as ordered by a judge (2007).

'Welcome To My Home' became an internet phenomenon because of its campy quality.
In 1988, she won a Soap Opera Digest Award for 'Best Villainess.'
