Musicians
    (1988-1991)
    Born in Los Angeles, California
    John Waite - lead vocals
    Neal Schon - guitar
    Jonathan Cain - keyboards
    Ricky Phillips - bass
    Deen Castronovo - drums
Best known for the song 'When I See You Smile' and the album 'Bad English'
Also recorded 'Price of Love,' 'Possession,' and the album 'Backlash'
They formed because Steve Perry didn't feel like rejoining Journey.
    Their second album bombed.
Although they had other hits, 'When I See You Smile' is the only one that most people remember.
Because of this, they are often mislabeled as a one-hit wonder.
Blender Magazine called them one of the worst bands of all time.
Their hits were typical cheesy 80's love ballads.
It was comprised of members from two successful bands (Journey and The Babys).
Waite and Schon were uncomfortable with the band's syrupy pop image and attempted to lead them into harder-edged rock.
Their first album had several hits and went platinum.
Schon, Cain and Castronovo reformed Journey after the band split.
