Why Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) might be annoying:

Many of its members are anti-Semitic.
Originally, one of its official objectives was the complete destruction of Israel.
In the early '70s, it advocated guerilla warfare against Israel, including tactics against civilians.
Three radical members murdered 21 innocent Israeli elementary school children (1974).
One of its branches split to form the Black September terrorist group.
It fought against Israel and Syria during the Lebanese Civil War, during which thousands of people starved to death.
It's accused of not doing enough to root out its more radical elements.
Its chairman, Yasser Arafat, said: 'We will make life unbearable for Jews by psychological warfare and population explosion' (1996).

Why Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) might not be annoying:

Today, it denounces terrorism and suicide attacks.
Most of its branches became more diplomatic and moderate in the mid-'70s.
It is less radical than groups such as Hamas.
The U.N. considers it to be a valid representative of the Palestinian people.
It announced a peaceful (if unsuccessful) 'Ten Point Program' meant to pursue a secular, democratic Palestinian state (1974).
It negotiated the Oslo Accords, which granted the Gaza Strip and West Bank to the Palestinians (1993).
It officially recognized 'the right of the State of Israel to exist in peace and security' (1993).
It represents a people who were forced from their land and have been living in deplorable conditions ever since.
