He started the construction of an army that would later cause the both devastating world wars.
He hated Americans.

Under his rule, Germany won every war fought.
He established Germany as a world superpower.
He was loved by the people, yet hated by foreign politicians.
He created the first social security system.
He once said: 'Laws are like sausages. It's better not to see them being made.'
