Why 7th Heaven might be annoying
Aaron Spelling is one of its producers.
Its critics claim that it relies too heavily on 'very special episodes.'
Beverley Mitchell auditioned twice before getting the role of Lucy Camden.
It was originally produced by FOX before moving to the WB.
Jessica Biel tried to get herself kicked off the show by posing nude in Gear Magazine.
Because of this, Jessica Biel now regrets it and her character now has a recurring role on the show.
A Los Angeles synagogue offered a filming location for Matt Camden's wedding to a rabbi's daughter, but withdrew after they saw the rabbi as hostile and intolerant towards his son-in-law.
Some say the show is too preachy.
It gave Ashlee Simpson and Aaron Carter acting roles.
Though Jessica Biel portrayed the eldest sister, she is younger in real life than Mitchell, the younger sister.
Why 7th Heaven might not be annoying
Before the show, both Stephen Collins and Catherine Hicks have appeared in Star Trek movies alongside William Shatner.
It is the WB's highest-rated series.
Barry Watson had to leave the show in 2002 because he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's disease.
The episode 'Nothing Endures But Change' was based on one of Beverley Mitchell's real-life experiences.
It made the actors who portrayed the original five Camden children into stars.
