    Member of the coaching staffs for the Chicago Cubs (2013) and the St. Louis Cardinals (2014–17)
    Vice president of player development for the San Francisco Giants (2017–18)
    Manager for the Cincinnati Reds

Why he might be annoying:

    He played on six different teams during his career.
    He was primarily used as a bench player, prior to being acquired by the Giants.
    He opted to forego his scholarship offer at the University of Kentucky when he was drafted by the Indians.
    He is best known for being the runner who was bearing down on home plate at the time J.T. Snow pulled Darren Baker out of harm's way during Game 5 of the 2002 World Series.
    He was ejected three times during the first four months in his rookie managerial season (2019).

    He, along with his grandfather Gus, father Buddy and brother, Mike are one of the few families to have multiple generations play in Major League Baseball.
    He was born in Cincinnati when his father played for the Reds, and he would later land his first managerial position with the club.
    He was a versatile infielder, as he was able to play all four infield positions.
    He hit the first inside-the-park home run in the history of Progressive Field (1998).
    He, along with his grandfather Gus are the first grandfather/grandson duo in major league history to hit for the cycle.
