Why he might be annoying:

    He originally planned to be the maître d’ of Greens, going into the kitchen only after realizing that there was not enough money to hire someone else to cook.

    He said about guests on his shows, ‘The less famous somebody is, the more likely they are to be awkward.’
    On an episode of ‘Sunday Brunch,’ he encouraged comedian Jon Richardson to sample some dhal, assuring him it was vegan. However, it was made with ghee (clarified butter), making it non-vegan.

    He described Greens as ‘a non-political vegetarian restaurant, focused on creating great food rather than promoting giving up meat.’
    He admits to being fond of kebab and chips on a night out.
    He has a degree in fashion and textile design and created a line of hand-painted pottery sold at Harrods.
