Why he might be annoying:

He was hired by WCW to use his ideas to beat the WWF, but ended up playing a big role in ruining the promotion to the point where it was bought by the WWF.
He likes to favor entertainment skits designed for shock value over actual wrestling.
He allowed David Arquette to become a WCW Heavyweight Champion.
He allowed himself to win the WCW Heavyweight Championship despite not being a wrestler himself.
In 2000, he made a non-scripted speech blasting Hulk Hogan at a Pay Per View Event, which resulted in Hogan quitting WCW and suing him.
He owned a couple of Long Island video stores before he started working for the WWF.
He is good friends with Jeff Jarrett.

Why he might not be annoying:

He has been given a lot of credit for the WWF's resurgence in the late 1990's.
Despite being removed as head booker and writer for WCW in early 2000, he regained his position a couple of months later when the company was tanking more so than before.
He suffered some severe concussions while participating in wrestling matches.
