She always tended to feud with 3LW singer Adrienne Bailon.
Her departure forced the remaining members of 3LW to join Sabrina Bryan to create the Disney-inspired 'Cheetah Girls.'
She has not reached the same level of success in music since leaving 3LW.

She attended Seton Hall University where she earned honors for her studies in political science.
Since then, she has discovered a love for acting.
She portrayed rap singer Lil' Kim in the film 'Notorious.'
She recorded a remake of Irene Cara's title song for the film 'Fame.'
