Why Amendment III - Sheltering Soldiers might be annoying:

It is no longer relevant.
Soldiers who protect you during the day, had to fend for themselves to find shelter.
Because the federal government is forced to bear expenses of military bases, local governments fight to keep bases from closing.

Why Amendment III - Sheltering Soldiers might not be annoying:

Soldiers can no longer knock on your door and demand you put them up.
Property owners are given back the right as to who stays in their home.
When the colonies were under British rule, British soldiers would routinely impose themselves on home owners without compensation.
There was almost no debate on this amendment and it passed easily.
There are almost no legal cases invoking this amendment.
