Why he might be annoying
He starred in a Woolworth's ad at age four.
He broke his 'EastEnders' contract a year early in order to star in 'The Bill.'
He had two children out of wedlock with actress/producer Dina Clarkin.
He said, 'I'm a frustrating man to work with because I'm a very slow learner.'
During a performance on the reality show 'Dancing on Ice' (2009), he lost control so badly that he stumbled off stage. ('I actually took out three production guys when I crashed into them.')
Why he might not be annoying
He is very approachable with fans, recalling, 'I couldn't wait to meet a West Ham player I worshiped as a kid -- then when I did, he didn't give me the time of day. i vowed I'd never be like that.'
His stumble out of the rink drew 1.5 million hits on YouTube and was called 'my most favorite moment ever on Dancing On Ice' by judge Philip Schofield.
He said he could tell his fans' ages by how they address him: 'If they're over 35, they call me Tucker. If they're under 35, they call me Mark Fowler.'
He then noted that thanks to Dancing On Ice, 'Now kids call me Todd. After 30 years, I'm quite enjoying hearing my own name at last.'
