    Defensive lineman for the Boston/New England Patriots (AFL and NFL) (1961-1971) and the Philadelphia Eagles (1972)
    Six time AFL All-Star (1963-1968)
    Selected to Boston Patriots 1960s All-Decade Team
    Died of a heart failure at the age of 72

Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname was Twine.
    He was sometimes obsessed with breaking down the dummies from training camp.
    He was traded by the Houston Oilers after he was drafted by the team in the 1961 AFL Draft.
    Despite being a noteworthy player with the Patriots, he ended his NFL playing career with a losing Eagles team.

    He won the NAIA wrestling championship title while attending Southern Illinois.
    He was selected to the Patriots' 35th and 50th Anniversary Teams.
    Billy Shaw considered him as one of the top pass rushers in the AFL.
    He and Jim Hunt were a defensive tackle duo that got the Patriots to their only AFL Championship appearance (1963).
    He was the Patriots' seasonal sacks leader three times (1967-1969).
    His wife died of lung cancer one day after his death.
