    He went in and out of rehab nine times.
    He spent a night in jail after getting into a fight with a club promoter (2010).
    He was given his middle name to honor singer/songwriter <24595>Townes Van Zandt<24595>. (It would have been his first name, but his mother objected.)
    He received Americana Music Awards for Emerging Artist of the Year (2009) and Song of the Year (2011).
    GQ named him to their ’25 Most Stylish Men in the World’ list (2010).
    He produced the album ‘Unfinished Business’ for rockabilly legend Wanda Jackson (2012).
    ’Rolling Stone’ wrote, ‘The son of country-rock renegade Steve Earle has grown into a songwriter to rival his dad.’
