The Resume

    Anti-war activist and author
Birth name is Jeremy Matthew Glick
    Resides in New York City
    English Professor at Hunter College
Co-author of 'Another World is Possible' (2001)
Lost his father, Barry Glick, a Port Authority worker, in the attack on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001
Was on the 'Not in Our Name' Advisory Board, which released an anti-war 'Statement of Conscience' which he and 40,000 others signed (July 2002)
Gained notoriety for his heated interview on The O'Reilly Factor over his signing the letter, the cause of 9/11, and over America's role in the lead-up to the War on Terror (Feb. 4, 2003)

Why he might be annoying:

    He speaks with a lisp.
    He resembles Adam Sandler.
He has been mentored by liberal hypocrite Al Franken.
Some deemed it a sign of disrespect to his late father to sign Not in Our Name's 'Statement of Conscience.'
He has been linked with Bill O'Reilly like a punch-line Siamese twin for over a decade, on the basis of a single interview.
He repeatedly claimed that President George W. Bush's Presidency was 'illegitimate' during his O'Reilly interview.
In a case of chilling irony, he shares a name with one of the Flight 93 passengers who crashed the plane in Shanksville, Pennsylvania on 9/11.
Many incorrectly believe that the Flight 93 Glick was the father mentioned repeatedly in the O'Reilly interview, but the two were no relation.

Why he might not be annoying:

His views were distorted as anti-American by the Right Wing.
While it doesn't take interstellar brilliance to own O'Reilly, Glick was one of the first to do it.
He and his family endured the trauma of losing his father on 9/11.
O'Reilly bizarrely claimed to his face that he was 'more upset' about 9/11 than Glick was.
His widowed mother was invoked during the argument by O'Reilly, who remarked that he hoped 'she isn't watching this.'
His mic was cut near the end of the interview, after being told to 'shut up' repeatedly.
When he accused O'Reilly of exploiting the 9/11 family for his own gains, O'Reilly heatedly responded 'I have done more for them... than you will ever HOPE to do, so keep your mouth shut.'
After the interview was completed, O'Reilly allegedly gestured to security and shouted in his face, 'Get out of my studio before I tear you to fucking pieces.'
His heated confrontation with O'Reilly was ranked by Time Magazine as one of the top 10 celebrity meltdowns of all time.
Bill O'Reilly carried out a years-long vendetta against Glick, more than once stating that he was 'spewing hatred for this program and his country.'
O'Reilly would continue to bristle at even the mention of Glick's name, as was the case in a heated segment on Iraq with Phil Donahue who jabbed 'I'm not Jeremy Glick, Billy, you can't intimidate me' (further angering him).
