Drafted 211th overall by the New York Giants in the 1992 NFL Draft
Quarterback for the New York Giants (1992-94, 1998-99), Detroit Lions (1995), Arizona Cardinals (1996-97), Pittsburgh Steelers (2000), Washington Redskins (2001) and the Jacksonville Jaguars (2002)

Why he might be annoying:

He was a journeyman quarterback.
He was released from the Houston Texans prior to their inaugural season (2002).
He transferred from Notre Dame to Ohio State when he failed to adapt to Lou Holtz's offensive system.
He was inconsistent as a starting quarterback in the NFL.

Why he might not be annoying:

He survived a near-fatal collision, when his mother was hit by a drunk driver and learned she was pregnant with him at the time.
He flourished at Ohio State, upon transferring from Notre Dame.
He thrived under Jim Fassel during his second stint with the Giants.
He guided the Giants to an upset over the Broncos which ended their unbeaten streak, in what he called the pinnacle game of his career (1998).
