Why he might be annoying:

He wanted to be a rapper before getting into wrestling.
It's curious why he never used his real name as his ring name, until recently.
He and Road Dogg would perform 'Gettin' Rowdy,' a rap song, every time they entered the ring.
He slightly changed the lyrics to 'Gettin' Rowdy' when Road Dogg was suspended for drug use.
When Road Dogg was fired from the company, he changed the lyrics completely.
After the WWF fired Road Dogg, he was mostly used as a jobber (someone who makes other peoples' moves look painful).
He was fired after the writers couldn't find him a good storyline.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the first African American to win the NWA World Heavyweight title.
His rap segments with Road Dogg were entertaining to fans.
He is known for coming up with some of the best and worst ring names in wrestling.
John Cena once said that he'd like to challenge him to a rap contest.
