    Drafted ninth overall by the Dallas Mavericks in the 1981 NBA Draft
    Shooting guard for the Dallas Mavericks (1981-92), New York Knicks (1992-94), AEK Athens (1994-95), Olimpia Milano (1995-96) and CSP Limoges (1996-97)

Why he might be annoying:

    He looks older then he actually is.
    He did not receive mainstream exposure playing in Dallas during the 1980's.
    He spent the majority of his NBA career on Mavericks teams that were unable to make deep playoff runs.
    He was benched in favor of John Starks for the last two games of the 1994 NBA Finals, in a move which cost the Knicks the championship.
    He played on three different teams abroad in three consecutive seasons following his departure from the Knicks.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was the first player in NBA history to be born in Panama.
    He was the highest scoring Hispanic/Latino born player in NBA history, prior to Pau Gasol.
    He was initially selected to the U.S. men's basketball team that was supposed to compete in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, which the country would later boycott.
    He was one of the first star players in the history of the Mavericks franchise.
    He had the distinction of never fouling out of a game during his NBA career.
