Why he might be annoying:

    He got into American football after he was discovered kicking at a soccer goal with a basketball.
    He guided the UCLA soccer team to two appearances in the NCAA Finals and lost in both of them (1972-73).
    He injured his knee which caused him to miss out on playing in the 1975 season.
    The Raiders cut him as he failed overtake Chris Bahr during the offseason.
    He was arrested under a warrant involving a traffic stop (August 22, 2008).

    He was the second Mexican born player to be drafted by an NFL team.
    He left UCLA with football career records in points scored with 368 and seven other career records.
    He recorded two field goals to help the Cowboys to beat the Denver Broncos in Super Bowl XII in his last season with the team.
    He was able to kick a 31-yard field goal in a later game of the 1978 season against the Kansas City Chiefs after his appendectomy surgery.
    His performances in fake field goal plays from special teams made him a Seahawks fan favorite.
