Despite the spelling of his name, it is pronounced Morris.
He was known as the 'quiet one' in the band.
He divorced the singer Lulu after 4 years of marriage.
His only attempt at acting was a short-lived West End musical called 'Sing a Rude Song.'
He had a paintball team called the Royal Rat Rangers.

Why he might not be annoying:

He died of cardiac arrest at only 53.
He played keyboard, bass and guitar for the band.
He was honored as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth II (2001).
He was inducted in both the Songwriters Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
His performance is 'Sing a Rude Song' was said to be one of the bright spots.
He was the only member of the band who didn't get in trouble with the British police before they moved to Australia.
