Why he might be annoying:

His films were low-budget horror and exploitation flicks.
He would re-release his films under new names.
He often cast his wife, ‘Freak Out Girl’ Regina Carrol, in his films.
The Medved brothers described his direction as ‘amazingly inept.’

Why he might not be annoying:

Legendary cinematographers Vilmos Zsigmond and Laszlo Kovacs did some of their first work in Hollywood on his films.
After retiring from films, he and his wife launched a successful career in real estate.
He was murdered by Fred Fulford, a contractor he had hired to make repairs at his house.
Fulford had been running up unauthorized charges on a credit card Adamson had given him to purchase supplies.
Fulford buried Adamson in his hot tub, then covered it over with concrete and tile.
Adamson’s housekeeper became suspicious over his disappearance and the covering of the hot tub, leading police to discover the body and arrest Fulford.
Fulford was convicted of murder and sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
