Why he might be annoying
He was cut from the UFC despite having six fights left on the deal he had signed upon joining 'Ultimate Fighter 2.'
After defeating Kimbo Slice he suggested he had been offered extra money to fight on terms more favorable to Kimbo: 'They didn't want me to take him down, let's put it that way. It was worth my while to try to stand up and punch with him.'
He later blamed his remarks on giving an interview at 'seven o'clock on my most hungover morning ever.'
When pictures of him in drag surfaced on the internet, he declared 'I'm officially 100 percent not gay.'
Why he might not be annoying
After being dropped by the UFC, he opened two Smoothie King franchises.
In a publicized bout against Kimbo Slice on CBS' 'Saturday Night Fights,' he TKO'd Slice in only 14 seconds (October 4, 2008).
He was a last minute replacement after Slice's original oppenent, Ken Shamrock, withdrew after receiving a cut over his eye during practice.
He explained that his comments about receiving more money 'to stand up and punch' with Kimbo was meant to be a reference to EliteXC's policy of offering knockout bonuses.
