Drafted 161st overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft
Goaltender for the Dallas Stars (2006-08), Tampa Bay Lightning (2008-11) and the Phoenix Coyotes

He played sparingly behind Marty Turco, only playing in the team's meaningless games down the stretch.
He missed two weeks with a concussion after taking a slapshot to the head (2007).
He went 3-10-0 shortly being traded to Tampa Bay (2008).

Why he might not be annoying:

He played for his hometown junior team for two seasons.
He takes great pride in his hometown and during his rookie season, he sported a goalie mask paying tribute to The Tragically Hip.
He lived with Marty Turco's family during his rookie NHL season.
He was the key player the Lightning received in the Brad Richards trade.
He brought stability to the Lightning's goaltending position, giving the team a reliable goaltender following the departure of Nikolai Khabibulin.
