Why he might be annoying:

    His coaching career always seemed to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
    He was fired by the Flyers 24 games into his permanent stint with the team, being replaced by Flyer legend Bill Barber.
    He missed out on the Bruins Stanley Cup championship by one year.
    Despite three stints as a head coach, he lasted one full season behind an NHL bench.
    He was fired by the Winnipeg Jets a month after True North purchased the franchise.

    He spent his entire playing career with the Sabres.
    He won the Frank J. Selke Trophy in his final season as a player.
    He earned a Stanley Cup ring as an associate coach in Tampa (2004).
    He served as the final head coach in Atlanta Thrashers history.
