Why she might be annoying:

She stole clothes from her older twin sisters.
She was in intensive psychoanalysis for three years during the 60's.
She admits: 'I had a reputation as a ball breaker.'
Her first marriage (1968) only lasted two years.
She burned so many bridges in Hollywood, that she dropped out of acting to open a catering business.

Why she might not be annoying:

She plays psychotic girls extremely well (on Broadway in 'Daughter of Silence' and in the film 'David and Lisa').
She was offered many roles to play psychotics that it added to her insecurity and caused her to seek out psychiatric help.
Her life lesson: 'I've learn you can bury yourself in a character, not in life.'
She has a wholesome, innocent face.
She says she takes off her top at beaches so she has no reservations about doing topless scenes (and she did a few).
