Musicians
    (1969-1975)
    Formed in Denver, Colorado
Named after a Colorado mountain range
    1971 line-up:
    Jerry Corbetta - keyboards/vocals
    Bob Webber - guitar
    Bob MacVittie - drums
    Bob Raymond - bass
    Bob Yeazel - guitar
Recorded 'Green-Eyed Lady' and 'Don't Call Us, We'll Call You'
They were a two hit wonder.
Their original name was 'Chocolate Hair,' which their record company had them change because they felt 'Chocolate Hair' had racial implications.
Their original rhythm guitarist left less than a year after they formed.
When Yeazel joined in 1971 they became a 5-man band with 'four Bobs' (and a Jerry).
They scored two Top 10 hits on Billboard's Singles chart, including Green-Eyed Lady which went to #3 in 1970.
As a humorous side project they were the session musicians Butch Patrick (TV's Eddie Munster) used when he recorded the 45 single 'I.O.I.O./I Want Sugar All The Time.'
The touch-tone number heard dialed on 'Don't Call Us, We'll Call You' (a song about a record company's negotiations with the band) was an actual unlisted number for CBS records, who refused to offer them a recording contract.
Founding member Corbetta went on to write music and tour with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
