    Appeared on Broadway in 'Hello, Dolly' (1964), 'The Canterbury Tales' (1969), 'Different Times' (1972), 'Lysistrata' (1972) and 'The Pajama Game' (1973)
    As a 'Diff'rent Strokes' housekeeper, she was overshadowed by Charlotte Rae.
    She did a series of commercials for Black Flag, delivering the tagline 'Roaches check in, but they don't check out.'
    She turned down the role of Miss Hannigan in 'Annie' for which Dorothy Loudon won a Tony and said, 'I still haven't gotten over that to the point that I've always turned down the role whenever it's been offered to me in revivals or touring companies.'
    Co-workers praise her 'ever-cheery disposition.'
    She won two Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle Awards (1976,1980).
    She performs at numerous charity benefits, notably AIDS fundraisers and Broadway's Help Is On The Way organization.
