Why he might be annoying:

He was very unpopular during his lifetime.
He admitted in his autobiography that he was responsible for convincing the judge to execute Julius and Ethel Rosenberg.
He worked with Senator Joseph McCarthy during the McCarthy hearings.
His clients included Donald Trump and Mafia members Carmine Galante, John Gotti, the Gambini sons, and Tony Salerno.
He was charged three times for numerous violations including perjury, witness tampering, bribery, and fraud.
Despite being Jewish, he was an anti-Semite.
He was a closeted homosexual who supported anti-gay legislation and anti-gay politicians.
He openly frequented gay bars but always denied in interviews that he was gay.
He dated Barbara Walters so he could hide his homosexuality.
He owned a large collection of stuffed animals.
He said: 'I don't want to know what the law is, I want to know who the judge is.'
He was disbarred in New York for unethical and unprofessional behavior (1986).
He continued to deny that he was dying of AIDS, claiming that he had liver cancer.

He graduated Columbia Law School at age 20.
He was an informal advisor to Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon.
His friends claim that he secretly used his influence to increase government research on AIDS.
His friends ranged from Ronald Reagan to Andy Warhol.
He was portrayed by Al Pacino and James Woods in separate movies.
