Born in Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma
Best known as a founding member and lead guitarist for Journey
Guitarist for the bands Bad English, Santana and HSAS

Why he might be annoying:

He is usually the second fiddle in whatever band he's in.
He is bitter towards former band mate Steve Perry and frequently badmouths him in interviews.
He was not inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame when the rest of the main Santana band members were.
He's been involved in several unsuccessful side bands and solo projects.
He dropped out of high school at 15.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was just 15 when he joined Santana.
He mastered the guitar at a young age.
Eric Clapton offered for him to join Derek and the Dominos before he was snatched by Santana.
Despite his bitter feelings, he acknowledges Steve Perry's importance to Journey.
He is the only Journey member who has played on every album.
