Musicians
    (1962- )
Recorded ‘Cherish,’ ‘Never My Love,’ ‘Along Comes Mary,’ and ‘Windy’
    Members were:
    Terry Kirkman (multi-instrumentalist)
    Jules Alexander (guitarist)
    Ted Bleuchel, Jr. (drummer)
    Jim Yester (guitarist)
    Brian Cole (bassist)
    Russ Giguere (percussionist)
    The name was unimaginative.
Before they were the Association, they were known as The Men.
‘Along Comes Mary’ was rumored to be about pot.
They sang a song about a girl called Windy (who’s called Windy, anyway?).
Most of the instruments on their records were played by studio musicians.
All the members were accomplished vocalists.
    They used complex, multi-part harmonies.
They were one of the top-selling groups of 1967.
They did the soundtrack for the film ‘Goodbye Columbus.’
They played the Monterey Pop Festival.
Their songs are still played on oldies radio today.
