    Appeared in the films ‘Ben’ (1972), ‘Pete ‘n’ Tillie’ (1972), ‘The Savage Is Loose’ (1974), ‘Burnt Offerings’ (1976), ‘Split Image’ (1982), ‘Girls Just Want to Have Fun’ (1985) and ‘Into the Fire’ (1988)

Why he might be annoying:

    In ‘The Golden Turkey Awards,’ the Medved Brothers nominated him for ‘most obnoxious child performer of all time.’
    Judith Crist described him as ‘a small, repulsive, fat-faced boy.’
    Several reviews of ‘Ben’ claimed that the rat in the tile role gave a more compelling performance than Montgomery did as the rat’s owner.
    He dropped completely out of sight during the 1990s.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Like Zack Ward and Nicholas Hoult, he was an awkward-looking kid who grew into a hunky young adult.
    He composed the score for the horror movie ‘Trigon’ (2000).
    He became a successful real estate agent after leaving show biz.
    He returned to public view in 2012, appearing at horror conventions to sign photos and pose with fans for pictures.
