    (May 12, 1945-December 3, 2014)
Born in Hounslow, England, United Kingdom
Keyboardist with the Small Faces (1965-69,1977-78) and Faces (1969-75)
Frequent sideman on albums and tours with the Rolling Stones
Also performed with Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Billy Bragg, Joe Cocker and Chuck Berry
Recorded the solo albums 'Troublemaker' (1979), 'Bump in the Night' (1980), 'Rise & Shine' (2004), 'Here Comes Trouble' (2005), 'Never Say Never' (2008) and 'United States' (2014)
    Married Kim Moon (1978-2006)
He had trouble remembering song lyrics.
He named his Hammond B3 organ Betsy.
He said about the Small Faces and Faces being jointly inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, 'It's very insulting to be lumped together.... It's too little, too late. If that sounds like I'm ungrateful, so be it. Fuck it.'
A few months before his death, he announced that Rod Stewart and Ron Wood had agreed to a Faces reunion tour in 2015, then added -- ironically as it turned out -- 'I hope and pray nothing happens between now and then, because it will be great.'
He was considered the glue holding the often fractious Faces together.
Keith Moon reportedly paid a man £200 to break McLagan's fingers after McLagan started dating Keith's ex-wife, Kim. (Fortunately for McLagan, Pete Townshend offered the same man £200 to forget about it.)
Despite his pissed off comments, he appeared at the ceremony inducting the Small Faces/Faces into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
He said, 'I play every day. It's what I do. It's what I've been doing for fifty years.'
