He spent two seasons in the Arena Football League.
In 2001, he worked out for the Washington Redskins, but he was not signed on to the team.
He was a journeyman player.
He gets paid to play in a position where he is barely present on the field.
After he missed a field goal during a Giants game against the Seattle Seahawks, he was mocked in a Saturday Night Live sketch with Dane Cook portraying him.

When then teammate Steve Weatherford was sidelinded due to an irregular heartbeat, he substituted for him and recorded his first career punt during a 2010 Jets game.
