It attacked, mauled, mutilated and killed Diane Whipple (January 26, 2001)
Thirty witnesses testified they had uncomfortable encounters with Bane and Hera.
It is bred to be vicious.
It viciously tore and shred her clothing.
It attacked even though it was not protecting its master.

Why he might not be annoying:

It was sexually abused by his owners.
It was highly territorial.
