Why he might be annoying:

Despite working over 50 years in the entertainment industry, he is best known as the Joker on 'Batman.'
For his 'Joker' role, he refused to shave off his moustache, so clown makeup had to be put over it.
There are rumors that he was gay.
Before being the Joker, he was typecast as a Latin lover.
