    He was a student at Santa Clara University, Harvard Divinity School and University of Iowa.
    He acquired a Bachelor of Arts and two Masters from the respective institutions.

    His wife Jessica Jackley is an American-born CEO/entrepreneur and a Christian.
    As Green kept addressing his Muslim background and questioning his qualifications as an expert on Jesus, Aslan never had an opportunity to discuss his book.
    The Green-Aslan standoff resulted in his book becoming the Number One seller on Amazon.
    Piers Morgan had him on CNN after the incident to give him the opportunity to reflect on the incident - and talk about the book.
