Why he might be annoying:

He divorced after only one year of marriage.
He is forever typecast in his ‘Beverly Hillbillies' role.
After acting, he entered the gambling and hotel business.
As if he isn't typecast enough, he planned to name his casino ‘Jethro's.'
He sued several businesses when they didn't want him to build a casino next to them.
When asked how he felt when someone called him ‘Jethro,' he said: ‘It's like somebody calling you a son of a bitch. If he's your friend, it's okay. If he's your enemy, it's not.'

He is left-handed.
He dated Sharon Tate.
Despite his hick image, he earned degrees in business and philosophy.
He couldn't find a Hollywood job for years after his show was cancelled.
His film ‘The Macon County Line' is one of the highest-grossing independent films ever.
