The Resume

    (circa March 10, 1987- )
    Born in Savonlinna, Finland
Drafted 25th overall by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft
Goaltender for the Boston Bruins (2007- )
Roger Crozier Saving Grace Award winner (2010)

Why he might be annoying:

He was traded to Boston in what is considered one of many trade blunders done by the Leafs over the last 40 years.
His nickname is 'Tuukka the Nuukka.'
His shaky goaltending in the second round allowed the Flyers to come back from a 3-0 series deficit and eliminate the Bruins from the playoffs (2010).
He failed to carry the momentum he had as a starting goaltender the following season, which paved the way for Tim Thomas to reclaim the starting job.
Despite having an impressive rookie season, he was snubbed for the Calder Trophy voting.

Why he might not be annoying:

He served in the Finnish military before making his way to North America.
He is the second Finnish goaltender to win a Stanley Cup title.
He had an outstanding career in the Finnish hockey leagues.
He didn't make a scene when he was told he was demoted to backup duties behind Thomas.
